On October 11,2012 what I thought would be a typical normal day, turned out to be the beginning of many unfortunate events to come, having met my husband in 1996 although I knew early on he was undocumented yet I believed it was an easy fix,  much to our dismay a lot has changed since the 70s. Due to Ira IRA act a bill which was enforced in the nineties under the Clinton Administration it has been said or one of the excuses given for reasons of massive deportations 2million+ which began in 2009 til present. Now as a wife of a deported spouse I reached out to several organizations as well as lawyers for help sadly I was  turned away with â€œsorry there is nothing we can do for you, but please support us where our focus right now is mainly on keeping the families here together by ending detention especially centered on the Lgbtq community,  stop all  deportations and now the entire subject as we can  see  is to lift  the ban from   Daca & Dapa  where does that leave us then?    This  is why  I had to  do something WILL you believe that in this day and age

this happens  to  American Citizen one who has  the ability to  vote and render rights  whose children are traumatized by a government who feels  compelled to destroy lives without rationalizing the ill harm affects placed on each one of us mental cruelty after a deportation of a loved one.  where someone is forced to exile stripped of their fundamental right to live here in pursuit of happiness’ I refuse to stay quiet,  I will continue to stand up and shout keep screaming  until I am heard and changes are finally made!  I promised my children I would get their father back and I intend to keep my word! yet I  cannot do this alone I am so grateful  for Facebook I have met  so many  wonderful people together  we  managed to do the unthinkable we went to the port of Entry  and asked for permission to let our loved ones reenter they denied our request,    yet  a week later a pastor was given permission and I know it was highly made possible  in part by our action you are not alone we are here for you together we WILL become  David ready to take on Goliath!!!

December 2009 would be the last Christmas Allyson spent together in Georgia as a family, they have a daughter, she was 4 years old when it all started. December 2010 her husband was incarcerated and the case became dead docket.  She had lost their apartment when they were starting to get on their feet, lost 2 cars, sold one for bills and the other got repo. In expectations, she was able to get back on her feet, yet again, and found a home for his return.  However, he had an ICE hold and had to deal with his wrongful entry into the USA. He was crossed by his mother at a young age, against his will.

They tried to keep him in the US, but nothing they said could keep him there and he agreed with the judge to be voluntarily deported.  October 2nd, 2011, Allyson and her daughter packed all their belongings and drove from Georgia to San Diego. She left her mother in law and his 2 young brothers to the home. October 4th,  2011, Allyson,  her daughter and her husband were finally reunited in Tijuana,  Mexico. Little did they know that they would be blessed with their second child, a boy.

This past year she has lost her home in Georgia and stays with his relatives when she is there. She does not stay in Tijuana nor does she stay in Georgia,  for the health and sanity of her oldest she goes between the two places. She also hopes for a change in the government.  They have a chance to have a life but for now they just try to survive.

On February 26, 2013 Jasmine's life forever changed after a routine traffic stop of her husband in NYC. Jasmine's husband Claudio was taken into custody for no seat belt. It was later discovered Claudio had a previous deportation from 1998. Yes he did pay taxes but never filed a tax refund. And yes he tried doing it the legal way and after losing his savings and two lawyers later was told nothing could be done. The seat belt charge was dismissed from having no criminal record but Claudio was deported April 10, 2013. Jasmine was told by ICE(Immigration and Customs Enforcement) "she was young and able enough to find a new husband." Being left with an eight month old son, car and house payments Jasmine took two jobs and to the Streets fighting for the injustice that was done to her family and every family affected by unjust immigration laws in the USA.Claudio desperately tried to keep his family together by Crossing the border on June 16, 2013(father's day) and was found near death in the desert by border patrol. After serving 2 months at PIMA county immigration jail he was re deported and by August 8, 2013 back in Mexico. Jasmine fearing Claudio at all costs would try to come back to the USA decided to keep her family together and prevent losing Claudio to death or the USA prison system and decided to go into exile as a family. After a year and a half separation Jasmine, Claudio and Cruz decided to make home in Michoacán Mexico *Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ* home of the butterflies. On July 12, 2014 The Mendoza family finally reunited. Jasmine is still currently exiled in Michoacán Mexico.

My name is Bobbi Contreras and I am a US citizen wife of Luis Contreras. Luis and I met in 2010 and quickly fell in love after Luis helped me leave an abusive relationship with my daughter's biological father. Luis helped me raise Shadyn as his own. In 2011, we found out I was pregnant with a boy. On April 19, 2012, immigration raided the restaurant that Luis was working at. he was detained in Polk County Jail for 28 days before being released 6 days after the birth of our son. We filed our I-130 as quickly as possible and after going to an interview over a year after we had filed the i-130, we were approved and began the 601A waiver. Our waiver was approved and we found a cosponsor. In July of 2015, Luis completed his appointments in Ciudad Juarez and received his packet on July17, 2015 and returned to the US. We now have 3 children Shadyn 5, Adrian 3, and Mateo 1 1/2.
